‘DWTS’ Fans SLAM Judges’ Choice To Eliminate Joseph Baena
Bodybuilder Joseph Baena went home on Dancing With The Stars last week at the end of Prom Night. However, fans are still livid about the decision and believe that the judges made the wrong call. Even though the competition has moved on and another elimination took place, many viewers are still salty about Joseph Baena leaving the competition.
Dancing With The Stars is all about celebrity contestants trying something new and giving the competition their all. And fans earnestly believe Joseph Baena’s progress was what DWTS is really all about.
DWTS viewers think Joseph Baena deserved to stick around
Since Season 31 began, Joseph Baena and his pro partner Daniella Karagach have hovered near the middle of the pack. Joseph may not have had previous dance experience like Charli D’Amelio and Wayne Brady, but he was in the competition for the right reasons. Each week, he showed up determined to perform better than he had the week before. And fans really saw that.
At the end of Prom Night, Joseph and Daniella were in the bottom two alongside Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev. Ultimately, the judges voted to save Heidi and Artem. That choice did not sit well with many DWTS Season 31 viewers.
According to polls conducted by GoldDerby, most fans think that the judges chose incorrectly on Prom Night. According to the publication, about 94% of viewers that were polled thought Joseph and Daniella deserved to stay in the competition.
There’s also a DWTS Reddit thread that was dedicated to “avenging” Joseph Baena. On the forums, many Redditors vowed to get Jessie James Decker eliminated on Michael Buble Night. They firmly believed she deserved to go home long before Joseph did. And it seems like they got their wish. Judges eliminated Jessie and Alan after Michael Buble Night came to a close.

DWTS Season 31 continues with Halloween Night
Although fans are still mad about the Joseph Baena situation, the show must go on. The top nine couples will compete next Monday night on DWTS. It’s Halloween, which means that will also be the theme for the night. The setlist isn’t out yet, but fans can certainly expect their favorite competitors to have spooky costumes and routines. There’s going to be a lot of fun in the ballroom left to come.
Halloween Night kicks off on Monday at 8 PM eastern time and 5 PM pacific time. The competition is coming down to the wire, so don’t forget to vote for your favorite remaining couples. There are only nine couples left in the competition and anyone could win.
