Why Is ‘Shark Tank’ Not On Tonight, When Will It Return?
For the second week in a row, Shark Tank will be preempted and not air on ABC. However, this week’s missed episode is for a very different reason than last week’s absence. Here is a look at why Shark Tank will not be live this week and when fans can expect it to return with a brand-new episode.
Why is Shark Tank not on TV tonight?
Last week, fans had to go without a new dosage of Shark Tank thanks to the NBA playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks first-round NBA playoff game aired on ABC instead of the popular reality TV series. At the time, it seemed that the NBA wouldn’t interrupt the show again until early June.
However, another sport has caused this week’s episode of Shark Tank to get preempted once again. This time it is the NFL. The NFL Draft started on Thursday night, with the first-round picks revealed on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network. Day two of the NFL Draft is today, and the second and third rounds will be revealed tonight.
As with the first round, the second will also play out on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network. This means ABC will only show the NFL Draft throughout the evening, and Shark Tank will once again not air. Saturday’s schedule will not change, as the third day is only combined commentary from ABC and ESPN.
There is good news though. This is the last week that Shark Tank will get pushed off the air by sports coverage.
When will Shark Tank return with a new episode?
The good news is that Shark Tank will return next week from its two-week break with a brand-new episode. The Sharks will be back on May 5 to offer deals to four new entrepreneurs, and it sounds like these products offer a little something for everyone, big and small. Next week’s brand-new episode of Shark Tank will see a natural home remedy, some paint for kids, a new clothing company, and hair accessories for textured hair.
The natural home remedy is a company called Nature’s Wild Berry Miracle Berries. This is Ledidi Berries, a superfruit designed to curb sugar cravings by delivering a sensation of sweetness for up to two hours. Noshi Foor Paint for Kids is a product that sells edible food paint. Kids can paint designs on bread, pancakes, waffles, and more with the paint and then eat it. It is made of organic fruit purees.
See the Way I See Clothing is a brand of clothing, jewelry, and accessories. These clothes are branded to help destigmatize mental health and bring more awareness to the subject. Finally, the fourth new product on next week’s new episode is You Go Natural hair accessories for textured hair. These products offer accessories that cater to the needs of people with textured hair.
