‘Curse Of Oak Island’ Finally Ready To Drill Into Money Pit
With The Curse of Oak Island skipping a week thanks to President’s Day in the United States, fans might wonder what is next. The answer to that question is going down into the Money Pit. The next episode is titled The Curse of Oak Island: Drilling Down, The Chosen. It sounds like it is time to finally find out what is under the Money Pit.
Here is a look at what is coming next on the hit treasure-hunting reality TV series.
Curse Of Oak Island Finally Heading Under The Money Pit
The next episode’s title makes it sound like it is finally time to figure out what might be under the Money Pit. The synopsis reads: “Rick, Marty, and the Oak Island team go in-depth with Matty Blake on locations where they hope to unearth buried treasure in the Money Pit area” (via Reddit).
Not only does the synopsis tease heading under the Money Pit, but this episode is supposed to feature the “Head Acorn” Matty Blake. For those new to the show, Blake hosts The Curse of Oak Island: Drilling Down and Beyond Oak Island, which are spinoffs of the main series.
This series takes viewers inside the treasure hunting and has the team, including Rick and Marty Lagina, talk about what they are doing outside the popular reality show’s edited scenes. Matty has been hosting these shows for six seasons, and this one seems to be focusing on the Money Pit just as the crew on the island is getting closer to its mysteries.
The Curse of Oak Island: Drilling Down, The Chosen airs on the HISTORY Channel at 8/7c on February 25. This leads right into the next episode of the main series, and it sounds like it will prepare viewers for what is to come.
Will Curse Of Oak Island Finally Get To The Chappell Vault?
The episode immediately following Drilling Down is titled “Cassions Ho!” this is the 13th episode of Season 12. The synopsis for this episode reads, “After months of tireless work and focused research, the massive excavation to recover the fabled Chappell Vault begins.”
This leads to the March 4 episode, “Sinking In.” The synopsis for that episode reads, “As the team moves closer to retrieving what they believe to be the Chappell Vault, a dangerous event occurs in the Money Pit and the Fellowship must adjust their plans quickly to avoid disaster.”
The Chappell Vault is a supposedly hidden treasure chamber buried deep within the Money Pit. The team has been trying to get down there for years, but things keep happening to keep them out. However, with new technology and more equipment, it seems they are getting closer. With that said, it sounds like disaster might strike again.
