Hallmark is celebrating the dreams sacrificed by moms in their upcoming musical Dream Moms. This promises to be a glittering extravaganza filled with music, dancing, and the powerful message to never let go of your dream, even if you are a busy mom.

What Is Hallmark’s Dream Moms About?

Hallmark’s upcoming musical Dream Moms has the tagline “From packed lunches to packed audiences.” What is this movie all about? According to the Hallmark press release, once upon a time, Danielle (Mowry-Housley) had dreams of being on Broadway. At one time, she got close to her dream, she did sing back-up as an off-Broadway performer. But, those dreams went away when she became a wife and mother.

Meanwhile, Claire (Hobbs) aspired to be a Broadway dancer. However, life got in the way. Now she is a single mom of two young sons. Instead, of dancing under the lights on Broadway, she is a bookkeeper in the Garment District.

Sadly, once both women became mothers, their Broadway dreams were just a memory. They no longer have time for themselves now. But something soon changes.

Claire happens to take a dance class from Danielle’s brother RJ, a dance studio owner and teacher. RJ introduces Danielle to Claire intending to put them together for a national competition.

As the two women begin to work on their routines, their lives start to change. They even become more self-confident and start to make time for themselves.

“They compete in the talent contest and with the support of their families, Danielle and Claire learn it’s never too late to become what or who you want to be.”
