An insider told Us Weekly that Amy Robach and Andrew Shue are working on repairing their bond. The GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchor still wants to be in his sons’ lives. She still communicates with them. Despite her illicit relationship with TJ Holmes, Andrew’s family is important to her.

“Amy has a relationship with Andrew’s sons here and there,” the insider told Us Weekly. “She is still in her stepsons’ lives. They communicate. She’d like them to still think of her as their stepmother and will be there for them. She is still trying to work out with seeing Andrew’s kids. She’s been their stepmom for so long and wants a relationship with them and Andrew is having a hard time emotionally with it.”

Fans assumed that Nate Shue threw shade at Amy Robach on Instagram. Reports also reveal that he wants nothing to do with the Good Morning America scandal. Us Weekly’s insider claims that Andrew’s sons still communicate with Amy. The family is still working on their relationship.

The source also revealed that the court declared Amy Robach and Andrew Shue single. Yet, they’re still working on their divorce. The exes have been working on their divorce behind closed doors. They didn’t want to invite a media circus.

Amy and Andrew are “still in mediation about any property and assets.” They’re also very supportive of one another despite what happened. Another source told Us Weekly that the two are on “speaking terms” and “coparent together and still communicate.”

In 2010, Amy Robach married the Melrose Place alum. They became a blended family with their children from their previous marriage. Amy shares daughters Annalise and Ava with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh. Meanwhile, Andrew is the father of his three sons — Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney.

In late November 2022, news broke about Amy’s six-month-long affair with TJ. Andrew’s sons shared their support for his new movie on Instagram. Amy made her first red-carpet appearance since her GMA firing in January 2023. She shared support for her daughter Ava’s recent performance.
