Dr. Now Hits Canada: ‘600-Lb. Life’ On Mid-Season Break?
TLC’s Dr. Now has ventured to Canada while his hit reality TV series My 600-Lb. Life is seemingly on a mid-season break. As Tv Shows Ace reported, fans were wildly disappointed when Season 11, Episode 9 didn’t air during its usual time slot last week. Unfortunately, TLC’s schedule reveals fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too high this week either as there’s no new episode of My 600-Lb. Life is on the schedule.
While the network hasn’t had much to say about this random blip in the schedule, Dr. Now has just taken to Instagram with an update on what he’s currently doing. Turns out, the TLC doctor is currently pretty far from his home in Houston. His Instagram activity reveals he’s ventured all the way to Canada.
Is the TLC doctor simply on vacation? Or, could they be filming My 600-Lb. Life in Canada? Naturally, the post in combination with the absence of new episodes on the schedule leaves fans with many questions.

As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, there is no real reason to believe My 600-Lb. Life Season 11 is already over. There have only been eight episodes this far. Typically, a season of this TLC series runs from 13 to 15 episodes long. So, it makes much more sense for this random break in new episodes to be some sort of mid-season break.
Late Saturday night, Dr. Now took to Instagram to inform his 622K followers he was currently sightseeing in Canada. In typical Dr. Now fashion, his Instagram caption was nothing but an overuse of hashtags. His Instagram followers, however, thought it was precious that the TLC doctor didn’t seem to have an understanding of how hashtags worked.

Dr. Now’s Instagram post reminded his followers and My 600-Lb. Life fans he was a lover of dogs as he was enjoying a walk around Canada with three beautiful Maltese pups. His post also revealed he was in Canada for the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) annual meeting of 2023. Per the SAGE’s website, April 1st was the last day of the annual get-together. So, Dr. Now is likely wrapping up his trip as he prepares to return to Texas.
