‘Bringing Up Bates’ Trace & Lydia Bates Reveal Baby’s Gender

Trace & Lydia Bates Expecting First Baby
In case you missed the news, Trace and Lydia’s first baby is on the way! The couple revealed to fans that they are expecting a baby in Sept. 2023. They are very excited, of course, and have been sharing updates along the way. Fans are thrilled to see Lydia’s growing baby bump and to hear their plans for the little one. This weekend, however, they spilled a pretty big announcement about the baby, revealing the gender.
Bringing Up Bates Couple Shares Exciting Gender Reveal
On Saturday, April 1, Trace and Lydia shared their baby’s gender with the world. The couple previously teased that they would be revealing the gender this weekend. So, fans have been anxiously awaiting the big announcement.
In a new YouTube video, the couple took fans along to their special gender reveal party where they were surrounded by family and friends. Near the end of the video, the family gathered outside to watch the big spectacle. Lydia and Trace stood in front of a lighted sign that read, “Baby.” Fireworks went off in the distance as the couple waited to learn their baby’s gender. Finally, blue smoke filled the air, revealing that their little one is a boy!
After the couple learned the gender, more fireworks went off as the family celebrated. Bringing Up Bates star Trace admitted that he was very surprised by the news that his baby is a boy. He thought it would be a girl, and so did several family members.
Trace and Lydia confirmed that they do have a name picked out, but they didn’t share it in this particular video.
Another Bringing Up Bates Baby On The Way
Trace and Lydia Bates’ baby isn’t the only one on the way. Zach and Whitney Bates are also expecting a baby. The couple currently has four kids, Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, and Jadon. In Aug. 2023, they will have a baby girl. The two little cousins will be very close in age.
