The Spy x Family movie finally has its official poster with the release date out on the Internet.
Spy x Family is on one of the strongest runs in anime right now. Its first season was undeniably one of the most popular debuts of all time. It quickly became one of the most popular shows of 2022, both in anime and in general. Now it’s gearing up to be another huge year for the espionage comedy as it gets a second season and film in 2023. Fans have finally gotten the official poster for the upcoming movie that gives a release date. The announcement also came with a release window for Season 2. Let’s talk about everything Spy x Family that’s coming this year.
Spy x Family: CODE White
The poster hit Twitter recently courtesy of the official social media account for the show. The name of the movie will be Spy x Family: CODE White and it will be arriving in theaters this December.
The movie is going to have an original story written by creator Tatsuya Endo that was never in the manga. That makes this an exceptionally exciting anime film for fans of the show and the manga. As of right now, there isn’t any official information as to what the plot of the film will actually be. On the poster, the “White” theme in the title plays out in the form of a lot of snow all around. There are flakes of snow falling all around as well as frozen mountains in the background. Considering this movie comes out in December, that lends a lot to the possibility of Christmas factoring into the plot with the setting being the cold winter in Ostania.
The announcement post also shares a release window for Season 2 of the show. It sets the premiere at sometime in October of this year. So the latter half of 2023 will be filled with espionage, assassinations, and telepathy. It’s going to be an exciting time for fans of the show.

Jujutsu Kaisen saw its debut movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 become one of the highest-grossing anime films of all time. All in all, these new anime reaching massive heights shows how much quality is coming out of the anime industry right now. Spy x Family: CODE White is coming to theaters on December 22nd. Season 2 of the show will premiere sometime in October of this year.
