They talked about a broadcast journalist who was called a “master of the gavel” and a “legendary charity auctioneer.” Al shared that one of the “tricks” to bidding is to “split it” with someone. Carson shared that Craig is too much of a “cheapskate” to do it.

Al confirmed that they both “say that to Craig every day.” Craig laughed and repeated: “Every Day. That’s right.” He laughed with the Today Show crew.
