‘Bachelor’ Is Zach Shallcross A Narcissist Or Just Bluntly Honest?
The Bachelor Zach Shallcross is taking a lot of criticism from fans over some of his recent moves on the show. He’s even been slammed by a popular former Bachelor. He’s not only angered an alum but he’s also angered some fans. However, the question remains, is Zach a narcissist or is he just bluntly honest? Keep reading to find out more.
Is Zach Shallcross a narcissist or bluntly honest?
Bachelor Zach Shallcross has been slammed lately for seeming to be unsympathetic toward some of the women. Former Bachelor Nick Viall has been one of his biggest critics. He said Zach lacks empathy for the women. Nick tweeted, “Every time Zach hears any of the woman express an insecurity, instead of showing an ounce of empathy, his face just drowns in disappointment.”
He then went on to say that Zach was in “Bachelor mode” and the women needed to prove themselves worthy. The question remains though, is Zach just brutally honest or is he a narcissist?
According to the Mayo Clinic, the definition of narcissist personality disorder “is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them.”
Is this Zach? Nick doesn’t think so. In fact, a fan commented on his tweet saying, “Yes he cant be bothered with that. #Narcissist” Nick replied back to them saying, “Omg. No he isn’t. He’s well intentioned, just lack’s experience and probably has had an extremely emotionally comfortable life to date.”
So, it seems he is just very blunt and honest. What has he done to make fans feel this way?

Fans think Zach did not handle a few situations correctly
Three of the women fans were irate over are Greer Blitzer, Jess Girod, and Kat Izzo. Fans thought Zach was downright cold and had no empathy for these ladies at all.
Plus, Zach had also snapped at Greer during a Zoom call when he was quarantined with Covid. Fans did not like how he snapped at her that him finding a spouse was more important than her work.
Some fans have even labeled Zach as being self-centered. There are some who are even calling some of his actions red flags.
While many are slamming Zach for his judgment on a few of these women, others are praising him. Some fans believe Zach isn’t being harsh, he’s being honest and full in on trying to find his partner.
