‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Fans Stunned As Tammy Slaton Sheds 300-Lbs
Tammy Slaton is proving her haters wrong these days. After years of struggling with her weight, she’s finally on the right track and pushing toward her goals.
After a year-long stay in rehab, Tammy started making healthier lifestyle choices and even qualified for bariatric surgery. This is a goal she’s held over the course of four seasons. Viewers felt delighted to finally see the surgery happen.
Some patients that receive bariatric surgery struggle to keep up with the lifestyle changes once they get home. But it seems like Tammy Slaton is determined to keep up the work.

Tammy Slaton Willingham surprises fans with a special appearance
As of spring 2023, The Sun reports that Tammy Slaton has dropped around 300 lbs. This is incredibly notable since the TLC star once weighed well over 600 lbs at her heaviest.
After a series of serious health scares and close calls, Tammy knew she needed to make permanent lifestyle changes. Fortunately, it seems like those changes are sticking! She’s much happier these days and even married in 2022.
Recently, Tammy and Amy decided to show up at one of their favorite spots in southern Indiana and surprise fans.
“SICP was surprised by these two beautiful ladies! The 1000lb sisters are SICP fans!!!” the Southern Indiana Combat Production shared on its Facebook page. “Thank you to Amy and Tammy for showing us some love! We are going to put a show on for you to talk about for years to come!”
The page uploaded several photos of Tammy and Amy taking photos with fans. And everyone couldn’t believe how much healthier Tammy looked!
“How neat I love their show,” one fan wrote. Many of the page’s followers tagged their friends in the comments, excited to see Tammy Slaton’s progress. Several others dropped their favorite quotes from the show.
Many agree that it was a great chance for the famous sisters to get out and meet fans.

Right now, fans are buzzing about the fate of Michael and Amy Halterman’s marriage. But no matter what’s actually going on, Tammy Slaton is determined to focus on herself and her own goals. It’s definitely not easy to see a sibling struggle, but the TLC star knows she still has a long road ahead of her.
