Duggar Family’s Modesty Rules
As many people know, the Duggars adhere to strict modesty rules. Growing up, the Duggar girls are expected to wear long skirts or dresses and can’t show too much skin. Their clothes can’t be too tight or draw attention to their figures. Michelle also dresses very modestly, even to this day.
As her daughters have grown up, gotten married, and moved out, some of them have begun wearing pants or shorter skirts. Some even wear tank tops and other somewhat revealing clothing items. While this isn’t anything noteworthy in most cases, this is a huge deal for the Duggars.

As we reported, fans discussed how sad this photo made them feel. They think that Michelle looked truly happy in this photo and that Jim Bob Duggar ruined her life.
Others wonder how her life might have turned out if she hasn’t married him and had 19 kids. Some fans have also pointed out that it’s unfortunate that Michelle’s daughters and sons, as well as her grandkids, didn’t have the same opportunities she did growing up.
