Matthew Lawrence & Chilli Enjoy PDA-Fueled Day Out Together
Plenty of people know actor Matthew Lawrence from his roles in Mrs. Doubtfire and Boy Meets World. But Dancing With The Stars fans specifically know him as ballroom legend Cheryl Burke’s ex-husband.
The pair finalized their divorce in 2022 and are completely leading separate lives these days.
Cheryl said she wants to focus on herself this year, but Matthew has already moved on with someone new. The 43-year-old actor confirmed his relationship with TLC member Chilli late last year. And it seems like the two are completely enamored with one another.

Matthew’s big brother Joey Lawrence is incredibly supportive of the new relationship.
“She’s great, a sweet person, super genuine, so warm and kind. And yeah, they’re just having a great time and it’s just good to see him happy and he makes her happy. So that’s all you can ever ask for,” the actor told PEOPLE in February. “Life is [full of] unexpected twists and turns — you don’t know what’s up next, but you just hope that everybody ends up happy. And he’s happy right now and she’s happy, and that makes us happy.”
Joey Lawrence competed on DWTS Season 3, which is where he met Cheryl Burke. He introduced the professional dancer to his younger brother and the two later married in 2019 before divorcing in 2023.
Now, Matthew Lawrence only has eyes for Chilli.
Yahoo! News reports that Matthew Lawrence picked Chilli up from the Los Angeles International Airport yesterday. He greeted his new girlfriend with a huge hug and a sweet kiss.
According to the news outlet, the Boy Meets World star loaded Chilli’s luggage into the trunk of his car for her. They shared another kiss in the car before leaving the airport together.
Many DWTS fans aren’t wild about the new romance out of respect for Cheryl Burke — especially after the cheating allegations. However, other fans just hope the new couple is happy.
