For now, it doesn’t appear that dancer Cheryl Burke is dating anyone seriously. After ending her marriage, she wants to keep her options open and work on herself for the time being. Meanwhile, Matthew Lawrence has officially confirmed that he is romantically involved with someone new.
TMZ broke the news that TLC singer Chilli and Matthew Lawrence are officially dating. Over the summer, the pair were spotted enjoying the beaches of Hawaii together. At the time, Chilli’s representative insisted they were just friends.
Many fans didn’t quite buy that story and now it’s clear to see why. But even so, TMZ reports that the pair didn’t become an official couple until Thanksgiving.
It’s still not immediately clear why Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence called off their marriage, but the professional dancer hinted that cheating was involved. For now, neither couple is offering up much information. As time goes on, more information on the split might come to the surface.

The dancer is ready to move on with her life
Although divorce is generally emotionally taxing and difficult, Cheryl Burke couldn’t be happier to move on with her life. Just before the new year, she posted a TikTok revealing that she “finally made it.”
“When you see me crying at 11:59 p.m. on NYE don’t think it’s because I’m sad,” the 38-year-old dancer captioned her video. “It’s because I f—king MADE IT through the year that did everything it could to try and break me, and there were a lot of moments when I thought I would but here I AM. Ready to move forward, to no longer be defined by my past, and SO ready to start the next chapter of my life. 2023, LET’S SHOW’EM HOW IT’S DONE!”
Now that Cheryl Burke has officially retired from Dancing With The Stars, it’s not immediately clear what she plans to do. However, she does have a lot of prospects and plans in the works. Fans hope 2023 is kind to her.
