Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke is in the middle of a divorce at the moment. After three years of marriage, she and her husband Boy Meets World star Matthew Lawrence decided to call it quits.
For the time being, Cheryl is taking some much-needed self-care time to work on herself. She has publically said that she is interested in dating again, but is taking things slow. But can the same be said for her ex-husband?

Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence were happy for a number of years. Sadly, their marriage just didn’t seem to work out. At the beginning of 2022, the DWTS pro announced that they were ending their marriage.
Since the split, Cheryl has really opened up about her personal life. She started a new podcast, Burke In The Game, to talk about dating and relationships as a divorced woman. Cheryl doesn’t seem to be seeing anyone serious yet. But fans think her ex-husband might have already moved on.
TMZ managed to get exclusive access to photos of Matthew Lawrence on vacation in Hawaii with TLC singer, Chilli. They swam in the water and enjoyed each other’s company in beach chairs. However, Chilli’s representative reportedly told the publication that there isn’t a romantic connection between the two 90s stars. They’re allegedly just two friends who managed to meet up together in Hawaii.

The professional dancer attempts to stay grounded
Although Cheryl Burke seems to be keeping her head up amid the divorce, she’s also publically admitted that sobriety is a struggle for her right now. She’s spending a lot of time with friends — who often want to go out and have a few drinks.
“I don’t wanna say that I’ve been feeling like drinking again lately, but it’s definitely been on my mind a lot more than normal,” Cheryl confessed on Burke In The Game. “I talked to my therapist about it and I guess also because I haven’t been very active with the program and with taking that fourth step that I seem to be stuck on for like the longest time now, but I’m going to slowly get back into it.”
In the meantime, she has plenty of work-related projects to keep her mind occupied. Fans sincerely hope she will return to Dancing With The Stars when it returns in September.
