Is Michael Strahan jealous of Michael B. Jordan? The GMA co-anchor made a shady comment about the actor. Keep on reading to learn more.
What did Michael Strahan say?
The Good Morning America co-host shared his true feelings about the actor. He took part in a debate with the panel. Michael Strahan shared who would win in a fight between Paul Rudd and Michael B. Jordan. He didn’t hold back when he made a shady comment.
The television personality interviewed actor Jonathan Majors, who stars opposite Paul Rudd in the new movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania. He also stars in a film with Michael B. Jordan in Creed III. Lara Spencer asked him which actor he finds the most “gratifying” to fight.
Jonathan admitted Michael and joked that most actors don’t get to “punch their directors.” Michael Strahan brought the conversation up to another notch. He threw shade at Michael with the comment: “First of all, I think Paul Rudd probably hits harder than Michael B. Jordan.”
He was clearly joking. However, his shady comment made his co-hosts Lara and Robin Roberts gasp. Both of them yelled: “Whoa!” Michael threw his hands in the air in surrender as he said: “That was a joke!” He made it clear there was no bad blood between him and the other Michael.
“I don’t need him coming on tomorrow trying to knock me down or something like that,” Michael Strahan said.
Jonathan agreed with the NFL star. He noted that Paul has a “dad energy” that could be translated well into a fight. Jonathan explained that “a dad punch is stronger than the average punch.” Michael Strahan made his big return to GMA on Monday morning after being away at the start of the week.
Big return to Good Morning America
Michael Strahan has been busing co-host Fox NFL Sunday where he appears as a football analyst. He also hosted the Thursday night FOX NFL broadcast. Rebecca Jarvis filled in for the co-anchor on both of those days. Michael landed huge interviews with Damar Hamlin and Super Bowl Halftime performer Rihanna.
The “Diamonds” singer dissed him during the interview. Michael mentioned her big return to the stage after her seven-year hiatus. He brought up his own singing abilities. Michael sang his rendition of Rihanna’s hit song “Needed Me.”
Next, he closed his eyes and danced around. Rihanna wasn’t sure how to respond. Michael Strahan asked her if she wants a “backup dancer.” She pointed at him and asked: “You?” Then, she admitted that his performance “wasn’t terrible.”
