Whitney Bates Nervous About Baby’s Health After Scary Situation
Bringing Up Bates star Whitney Bates admitted that she’s nervous about her fifth baby’s health after a scary situation. The soon-to-be mom of five opened up when fans asked about her concerns. So, what’s going on, and why is Whitney worried? Keep reading for all of the details.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Zach and Whitney are expecting their fifth child. Over the weekend, they dropped the big news along with a special Valentine’s Day-themed photo shoot with their kids. In August, Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, and Jadon will get a new baby brother or sister.

After announcing her pregnancy, Whitney Bates shared several Instagram Stories about the past few weeks. She also allowed fans to send in questions, which is why she addressed some of her fears.
What happened with Jadon Bates?
In the summer of 2021, Zach and Whitney welcomed their fourth child, Jadon, to their family. Sadly, this was a very scary time in their lives. The baby boy ended up in the NICU and was transferred to another hospital when his O2 levels dropped shortly after birth. Then, his right lung collapsed, prompting the team to intubate him and put him on a ventilator.
Fortunately, Jadon pulled through and went home a few days later. Today, he is a healthy little boy today and will turn two years old just before baby number five arrives. However, the scary events following Jadon’s birth have Whitney worried.
Whitney Bates admits she’s nervous about her baby’s health after the scary situation.
During her Instagram Q&A, one fan asked Whitney if she is nervous about the baby’s birth due to the scary situation after Jadon’s birth. She admitted, “I am for sure nervous about the health of the baby just because Jadon was my first NICU baby. But the team at our children’s hospital here was phenomenal and truly saved his life. So that brings me peace.”
The Bringing Up Bates star added, “I try not to let myself get too worked up and worried when as of right now everything is looking good.”
