‘Bringing Up Bates’ Carlin Bates Celebrates Layla’s Big Milestone
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart’s daughter Layla is growing up quickly! The proud mama of two hopped on social media to give fans an update about her little girl. She revealed that Layla is reaching big milestones and gave fans all of the details. So, what has the three-year-old been up to lately? Keep reading to find out.

On Jan. 31, 2023, Layla celebrated her third birthday! This came as a surprise to fans who can’t believe she’s not a little toddler anymore. She’s a big sister to her little brother, Zade. She’s learning all kinds of new things and is developing a huge personality.
Thanks to Carlin and Evan’s frequent social media posts, fans get to see lots of photos and videos of Layla and Zade. So, even without Bringing Up Bates, they’ve had the chance to watch her grow up.
Now that she’s three years old, Layla is hard at work on an important milestone.

On her Instagram Stories, Carlin shared a couple of new photos of Layla and revealed what the little girl is working on these days. In the snaps, Layla sat on the bed with her baby doll and a backpack carrier. The three-year-old’s hair was in braids as she wore cute strawberry-printed pajamas and smiled for the camera.
Recently, Carlin has been talking about potty training Layla. Now, the Stewarts are officially working on it.
Carlin included a screenshot of a message she recently received from a fan. They wanted to know how potty training is going. When sharing the first picture, the mom of two said, “Please tell me why she looks so grown up here.”
Then, she shared a second photo of Layla. In the adorable snap, she gave a thumbs-up. Carlin reported that as of day three, Layla had “no accidents and she is making it through the night like a pro.” The Bringing Up Bates star called her little girl a queen.
