On Tuesday, February 7, it was reported that Captain Lee Rosbach will leave Below Deck after ten seasons. He’s been part of the original hit Bravo series since the beginning. He also became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, his health issues over the years have set him back from continuing his career.

Earlier in Season 10, Captain Lee leaves because of nerve damage in his leg from surgery. He comes back later this season and fans are impatiently awaiting his return. However, Captain Lee Rosbach confirmed that he’s leaving the show after Season 10. Us Weekly first broke the news on Tuesday, reporting that several sources close to the Bravo star suggest he’s leaving.

However, Bravo hasn’t confirmed this news. Captain Lee has dealt with many health issues over the years, including heart problems and mobility issues. He was on crutches and a cane in Season 10 before leaving. Captain Lee made the difficult decision to leave the boat in the middle of the charter season and focus on his health.

“My injury, it’s getting worse. The left side of my body, I don’t feel anything,” Captain Lee Rosbach explained in his confessional. “I expected a lot more progress than I’m experiencing, and the most frustrating part about it is, I can’t do a goddamn thing about it, and it’s hard.”

Who will replace the Below Deck star?

Fans are now wondering who will replace Captain Lee Rosbach on the show. Captain Kerry Titheradge will replace the Below Deck star and is filming Season 11, per Us Weekly. He made his debut on Below Deck Adventure, which takes place in Norway. The spinoff series just wrapped up its first season last week.

However, Below Deck normally takes place in the Caribbean, where it’s sailed in the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, St. Kits, and so forth. Like Captain Lee, Captain Kerry is also a tough captain. He doesn’t like a crew who messes around, so he could be the ideal replacement. Yet, it’s too early to see if he’ll get the type of fanbase that Captain Lee did.
