Al Roker’s Wife Deborah Attempts A Vertical Jump
At the age of 62, Deborah Roberts is fit as a fiddle. In her latest Instagram post, the mother of two shared a clip of her daily exercise routine. The ABC broadcaster wore skintight leggings with a gray top as she bent forward to warm up for a big jump. Deborah Roberts stood in front of a plyometrics box for a vertical jump that is known to improve knee and core strength. The newscaster swiftly jumped on the box without losing her balance and glanced at the camera smiling at her achievement.

She captioned the post, “Friday feeling… you got this! Go for the challenge!”
Savannah Guthrie Gushes Over Deborah’s Fitness Feat
In the comments, her husband Al Roker’s co-host Savannah Guthrie gushed, “Queen,” to which Deborah replied with two red heart emojis.
Another fan suggested, “Nice job!! Try looking up slightly as you jump. When we look down, we don’t jump as high.”

Replying to the fan, Deborah Roberts noted that she fell almost twice attempting the exercise routine.
Al Roker Attempts The Goddess Pose
Earlier this week, Al Roker had a similar show of strength on air on Wednesday’s episode of Today show. Even after his two-month-long health struggle, the weatherman showcased his vitality with a rigorous exercising routine. During the Start Today segment, Al Roker worked alongside the show’s fitness contributor Stephanie Mansour as went through some exercises viewers could do at home.
In the segment, the weathercaster also explained that he wishes to focus on heart health for the month of February and asked fans to sign up for the Start Today Walking Challenge. As Stephanie started demonstrating some upper-body exercises, Al took up some dumbbells and started performing the W press.

However, as the routine shifted to the Goddess Pose, Al Roker admitted that “Things could go wrong quickly,” as he nervously tried to imitate Stephanie.
