The Bringing Up Bates family enjoys an exciting adventure together.
As TV Shows Ace reported, the Bates family embarked on a new adventure together. Several family members, including Gil and Kelly, as well as some of their younger children, adult children, sons and daughters-in-law, and grandkids, took a trip to Colorado. They enjoyed skiing and soaked up lots of quality time as a family. Of course, not everyone was able to make it. But those who were there shared lots of highlights via social media.
But also on this trip, there was a big surprise in store for the Bringing Up Bates parents.
What is Gil & Kelly Bates’ big surprise?
On her Instagram Stories while in Colorado, Kelly took fans along on a special date night with her husband Gil. She revealed that Trace and Lydia Bates had surprised her with a train ride. This was previously mentioned in their YouTube video. Kelton and Josie Balka then treated Gil and Kelly to a fancy dinner. This was the perfect date for the parents of 19.
Below, you can see a few of the photos they shared along the way. Kelly gushed, “What an incredible day on the train ride through the Rockies!” Then, she gave Josie and Kelton a shoutout, noting, “It’s hard to top being treated with filet mignon in the cute town of Breckenridge with all of its twinkling lights & snowy mountains!”
While enjoying their date night, the former Bringing Up Bates stars snapped a selfie together, as well as pictures of each other. They were all smiles as they soaked up their quality time. It looks like they fully enjoyed their incredible surprise pulled off by their kids.
