While Seyfried has no regrets about moving to the farm, she explained that the grass isn’t always green. Although the couple leads a private life away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi, the Letters To Juliet star offered a rare glimpse at her family life on the farm.
Amanda Seyfried Claims Farm Life Is Expensive
The mother of two shared a picture of her pet dog Finny on Instagram who hasn’t been doing well. She captioned the picture explaining the ongoing situation at the farm and wrote, “A midnight vet, a seeping blood vessel, period underwear, and some drugs for Finny today. Also a new diabetes diagnosis for Bertie cat, and an egg-bound chicken on antibiotics. Sometimes no one has a mystery illness or colon fusions or powdered anti-inflammatories added to their meals. Sometimes all are healthy. Most of the time we’re trading in one issue for another.”

Amanda Seyfried also had a suggestion for new farm owners and anyone wishing to indulge in farm life. She explained that having animals is expensive and exhausting at the same time. So, if one isn’t willing to invest those extra hours, it isn’t for them.
Amanda Seyfried’s Family Slept In A Barn
The critically acclaimed actress also revealed that she can retain this lifestyle successfully because she has Shannon, her house help. She explained how Shannon took care of most of the essentials on the farm. Plus, she also asserted that money is a key factor to ensure the animals get help when necessary.
“This is all to say: it’s a lot but it’s worth it if you have help and can afford the vet bills. Truth,” she concluded.
