Fans are wondering why ABC hasn’t announced Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ firing. Reports suggest they already found replacements. The network is reportedly “working on an exit strategy.” The two were on suspension seven weeks ago after the news came out.
Their teams are coming up with a plan to make the formal announcement. Their alleged affair has rocked the talk show ever since late November. At the time, execs didn’t know what to do with the twosome. They decided to keep them on until more about TJ’s alleged affairs with multiple staffers leaked into the media.

Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have already hired their own lawyers. The two will fight the network and try to get as much money out of this as they can. They also claim that ABC is firing because of racism. Amy and TJ argue that this is about them being a Black man and a White woman.

I think GMA hit the mark wrong with terminating TJ and Amy they had great chemistry and the 2 were nice looking people, not everyone on GMA is, your loss
I must be totally missing something. Why are they actually being fired? Is it just because they were having an affair? They were still doing their jobs. Is GMA saying that everyone employed there must be squeaky clean without any skeletons in their closets in order to work there? This affair is their personal business and I don’t think prevented them from doing the job they were hired for. It is unfortunate their spouses got hurt because of this affair but I don’t think they should be fired.

Don’t fire them. Follow morning Joe’s game plan. They didn’t overrect to their anchors relationship and marriage. Too many judgemental peers who have their own issues to deal with. Lara Spenser comes to mind
Why are they being fired. They did their job…unless there was something in their contract that said…they could not become sexual involved with co~workers…they are wrong. The network is the one that have made their affair a big deal ~ Amy & TJ didn’t. Yes, people got hurt…but the network made it worse..because they had to put it out there for everyone to become involved….But, to lose their jobs ~ No, I don’t think that’s right…
To me they both violated a family business,hurt other people like their childten.They both have no respect for one’s feeling.They let the whole world know what they where doing.Thst relationship will not last.He is after her money, she let this man’s lips on her has crowder her judgement,she is in love with a black man private parts.Amy don’t you feel stupid and dumb that whole world knows how you destroy a marriage,He WILL CHEAT HER like he did his wives..She us a Fool,he is very aggressive and arrogant, and very Disrespectful to his daughter.
Holmes and Robach breached the morality clause of their employment contract. Folks, the morality clause is an all-encompassing nuke clause, and any lawyer knows this. What’s holding up the final outcome of this indefensible case is the final compensation package. Holmes and Robach termination is a foregone conclusion.
Good riddance! I feel bad for the kids and step kids involved.
This is a move that would have been prominent in the 50s & 60s. We live in different times now! Who cares if they’re together on a personal & private level…it doesn’t affect their on air jobs!! Shame on the powers that be…maybe you should be fired for your archaic views!!
