‘Below Deck’ Camille Lamb Denies Boozy Duty Claims?
Below Deck alum Camille Lamb released a statement. She got fired in the latest episode of the Bravo series for drinking on the job. For much of charter season, she drank while working. Camille also had a terrible work ethic, which caused more problems with her fellow stew Alissa Humber.
Chief stew Fraser Olender didn’t know how to resolve the issue. He admitted that he liked both Camille and Alissa, and wanted both of them to like him. He’s in the first year of his new role and is still trying to get his footing. However, fans think Camille should’ve been fired a long time ago.
Find out what the Below Deck newbie has to say about the boozy duty claims.
Captain Sandy fires Camille Lamb for boozy duties
Below Deck fans said goodbye to Camille on Monday’s episode. Captain Sandy Yawn fired her for drinking on the job. Camille kept drinking even after the crew outing. The crew had to prepare for the incoming charter guests.
Her firing followed her latest fight with Alissa. The two have gone head-to-head in the past. Fraser couldn’t sleep the night before because of Camille’s behavior. He felt that he had to address it. Even though Fraser knew he had to call out Camille, he admitted that he still liked her.
He wanted to give Camille many chances. Below Deck Med star Captain Sandy wanted to give Camille another chance as well. Camille continued to show disrespect for her fellow crew members as she stole a bottle of champagne reserved for the charter guests. She drank and partied in her cabin while the rest of the crew got ready for the next charter.
Fraser was upset when he found out that Camille was drinking on the job. The following day, she continued to drink and party in her cabin. Fraser spoke to Captain Sandy about Camille’s behavior. She admitted that she was “tired of hearing about Camille” and asked her to the bridge to speak with her.
Below Deck alum speaks out on the drinking claims
On Tuesday, January 17, Camille posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories. She denied the claims that she was boozing on the job. Camille alleged the Below Deck Season 10 crew also drank while they worked. She wants to change the “narrative” of her “lazy” and boozing ways.
Camille claims that the Below Deck producers serve drinks in the confessional interviews. She also shared that Fraser allowed the interior to have “champagne time” after they did their chores. The reality star denied the claims that she’s “lazy.” Camille explained that she was “less enthusiastic” about doing her job.
“I’m just not going to accept and claim this narrative,” Camille concluded her statement. “My accomplishments thus far in life are not accomplishments of a lazy person. I will continue to be accountable for my actions with no shame because, at the end of the day, I grow from them I learn from them, and from those lessons and failures I’m one step closer to success.”
