‘Flip Or Flop’ Christina Hall Shocks Fans With Outlook On Aging
Christina Hall has been open about her recent health struggles, and now she’s opening up about another tough topic: aging. She recently shared with People how she feels about her upcoming birthday. Is the HGTV star upset about turning the “big 4-0” or will she try to age gracefully? Read on to find out.
What Are Christina’s 40th Birthday Plans?
Christina Hall didn’t share much about her plans for her birthday. However, she did say she is going to plan a “real big fun” trip to celebrate. Her birthday is July 9, so she still has time to pull her plans together and make reservations. She celebrated her 39th birthday last year with a romantic getaway with her husband Josh. If her 39th birthday trip is any indication of how this year will be, it will be a good time.
The mother of three shared some photos of her getaway on Instagram last year, so chances are, fans will be invited along this year as well.
Doesn’t Feel Her Age
So what did she say about turning 40? The star told People magazine, anticipating turning 40 this year, that she is “actually excited.”
“I’m approaching 40 in a few months and I feel like what I’ve heard is, in your forties, you’re the most confident and comfortable in your own skin. I don’t feel like I’m 40. Not at all. I feel like I’m 32. I don’t know what happened,” she explained.
This may be somewhat surprising to fans because Christina mentioned having health struggles possibly due to mercury and lead from some of the older houses she’s participated in renovating for the show.
Upcoming Projects & Where You Can See More of Christina Hall This Year
In addition to turning 40 this year, Christina has some big plans. On January 12, her new show debuted. Christina in the Country aired on HGTV and follows Christina’s home renovation fun in Tennessee. This show is her third reality show on HGTV.
When asked why this show is focusing on Tennessee, Christina said: “Up until now, Tennessee has always been a quick getaway, but with every trip I’m just loving it more and more. I’m always looking for more reasons to spend time here.” The show follows her and her family in Franklin, Tennessee as they make themselves at home in their vacation home and grow her business in the area.
“I really want to start my own home line – like a Christina collection-type thing, so that’s something we’re working on right now, getting that into a big box store. ‘Hopefully, that comes into fruition next year.”
But her plans don’t end there. She also said it would be “pretty cool” to have an “online seminar course in manifesting, creating wealth in your dream life.”
