What Is Hallmark’s Wedding Veil Inspiration About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, Emma (Reeser) is determined to stick to her five-year plan. She has everything planned out. Paolo (Bernardini) and his cousin Matteo (Marks) plan to open their lace shop in Chicago. Everything is going to plan, right? However, Emma’s five-year plan gets messed up.
Emma is determined to advance in her job before starting a family with Paolo. She thinks she is headed to a promotion to the department chair. But, Paolo thinks that starting a family will never happen.
Now, things become more complicated for Emma. Paolo must return to Italy and they are an ocean away, dealing with their issues. Moreover, Emma’s job is not going well. Nancy (Boyd), the current department chair and Emma do not see eye-to-eye.
Suddenly, Emma questions her plans and her choices.
“Thankfully, she has frequent calls, texts, and visits with Tracy (Sweeney) and Avery (Chabert), who seem to know her better than she knows herself. She also has a friend in her smart and quirky teacher’s aide, Lily (Rohl), who provides Emma with a novel opportunity to get people excited about art, but it might mean giving up everything she’s worked for. Meanwhile, Emma cannot help but notice a spark between Lily and Matteo – who both happened to be touching the veil when they met. As Emma tries to get Lily to trust her heart, she must find the courage to stop planning her own dream life and start living it.”
