      1. Hannah mentions Andrea moved to Seattle for a new job. No mention of Bill who was supposed to be Sheriff.

  1. Disappointed in the “new” sister never mentioned before. Where are the feisty blonde sister and her policeman husband? Ruined the movie for me and I’ll be unlikely to watch anymore. Viewers aren’t stupid. This kind of replacement makes no sense. They’d have been better off just replacing the regular sister with a different actor.

  2. Agree with other comments: why all the changes?? Where are Andrea and Bill? Love them! And why this new sister, who we’ve never heard of before? She doesn’t work, either – very contrived. And what’s with the ultra-modern bakery reno? Looks cold and not how a bakery named the Cookie Jar would look. Also, some of the music is far too loud and uninspired. Very disappointed – and I was so looking forward to watching another “Murder She Baked” type of movie.

  3. I Miss Andrea and Bill. The new sister does not seem to fit … the tall brown eyed dark headed beauty just does not seem like a sister / daughter after the other seasons of mother and daughters all being short , blue eyed blondes.
From what I read the third sister/ daughter was brought in to follow the story line of the books. Visually the actress does not fit the part. Perhaps if she Bleaches her hair blond she would be more believable as the sister/ daughter. Or just bring back the actress that played Andrea to be the third sister.

  4. The series was rebranded because the new movie has different executives involved. According to Sweeney, “Murder She Baked was a specific title to do with the previous executives and we weren’t able to keep it going. So we wanted to embrace the Hannah Swenson character and the Joanne Fluke novels”.

  5. The reason for Hannah’s sister Michelle was revealed by Alison Sweeney. Sweeney claimed Michelle was brought into the film because of her significant role in the books.

  6. Maybe y’all should go read the books these movies are based on. I’ve always wondered where Michelle was and Hannah (as much as I love Alison Sweeney) is supposed to be red-headed.
