What happened to Ginger Zee?
Good Morning America meteorologist Ginger Zee didn’t report on the widespread storms that are affecting holiday travel. Fans were worried after they noticed that she wasn’t on the air. Ginger confirmed that she’s taking a break from the show to spend the holiday season with her kids.
Cheryl Scott filled in for her during the weather segment. GMA fans took to Twitter to react. Most of them were worried about Ginger Zee since they haven’t seen her in days. They wanted to know where she disappeared to.
“@Ginger_Zee good morning. Haven’t seen you on GMA in a few days? You on Christmas vacation???” one fan asked her.
“Yes!” Ginger Zee responded.

On Monday, December 19, Ginger Zee announced that she is on a break from the breakfast show. She shared the news with her fans and followers on Instagram. Ginger posted a photo of her two sons with their cousin. Most of them took to the comment section to share warm wishes.
“Hope you all have a great week – we are enjoying some family time – the boys love my cousin’s baby so much,” Ginger Zee wrote in her Instagram post.
GMA meteorologist sizzles in a red dress
Long before her break from GMA, Ginger Zee sizzled in a red dress. She baked cookies during a fun holiday segment with Tieghan Gerard. Some couldn’t help but remark about how “hot” Ginger looked in the dress. She confirmed that it was just an “old dress” but she was appreciative of the comments.

Many co-hosts have gone absent from the show. The three main hosts went missing on Monday’s broadcast. Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan were all missing from the New York City-based show. They were replaced by Erielle Reshef, Rebecca Jarvis, and Whit Johnson.
