‘Sister Wives:’ The Underlying Demise Of Meri & Kody Brown
“About time,” Sister Wives fans everywhere are exclaiming as they learn Kody and Meri Brown are no longer married. Fans, however, are feeling a pretty even split between being excited and being heartbroken. On one side of the spectrum, fans are happy that Meri finally found a shred of dignity and walked away from the man that no longer wants her. On the other side of the spectrum, fans know that Meri (for reasons fans don’t understand) still loves Kody. And, they are heartbroken that the love isn’t returned to her.
Per a recent exclusive report from The Sun, there is one very crystal clear underlying issue that caused the demise of Kody and Meri Brown. What was that demise?

Now, Kody Brown likes to place the blame on the destruction of his relationship with Meri on the catfishing incident. From Kody’s point of view, this was the moment in time where Meri emotionally cheated on him. Fans can’t help but wonder what would have happened if the “man” Meri met online had actually been who she believed he was. Would Meri have run off into the sunset with him?
The real issue, the real demise of Meri and Kody Brown, however, dates back further than the catfishing incident. The real underlying issue was actually Robyn Brown.
Per an anonymous source that is reportedly close to the family, Meri Brown has always had a seething jealousy bubbling under the surface for Robyn. Meri desperately wanted to be Kody’s favorite wife. And, she was intensely jealous of the amount of time Kody spent with Robyn.
Per the source that spoke to The Sun, there was never a point in time where Meri wasn’t jealous of Robyn. Likewise, the source claims Meri Brown admittedly regrets bringing Robyn into the family as the ruined everything.
What exactly does Robyn Brown even want?
Now, there is a lot of debate on what Robyn Brown’s endgame is. For example, Robyn insists she wants polygamy. She wants sister wives. So, why did she play a part in running all of Kody’s wives off? There are rumors from other sources that Robyn reportedly sought Kody out because she knew his family would be a meal ticket for her and her children. Likewise, there are rumors she always wanted to be famous and write a best-selling book.
Robyn’s inability to share Kody with the rest of his wives and his obsession with her and his refusal to make time for his other wives is ultimately what caused his relationship with Meri Brown to crumble. Fans argue she wouldn’t have sought comfort from a random man online if Kody would have just been there for her.
