Jenna Bush Hager gets defensive as Hoda calls out her boozy co-host. The incident took place during Monday’s live broadcast of the Today Show. Jenna let out her “wild” behavior during the show. The two discussed SantaCon 2022 which took place in New York over the weekend. Most of the Santas get into naughty behavior.

Jenna Bush Hager loves to drink

Jenna Bush Hager isn’t shy about sharing on the talk show that she loves to drink. She admitted that she took part in the raucous behavior like SantaCon before she had kids. Jenna asked Hoda if she would ever join in on the fun. Hoda admitted that she doesn’t like to get drunk even though she loves to drink.

“No! You know when you have a wild night…” Hoda explained. “I’m realizing I like to have fun and great laughs but I don’t like to feel like drunken monkey. I like to have a buzz and have fun. I don’t like to be like, blahhhh.”

She impersonated what a drunk person acts like. Jenna Bush Hager said she has never seen Hoda drunk. Her co-host shot back at her. Hoda shared that she’s seen Jenna under the influence.

“I know because I haven’t been like that in a while,” Hoda fired back. “I’ve seen you like that!”

“No, you have not! That is judgy!” Jenna Bush Hager said.

Hoda disagreed with her. Although Jenna didn’t believe her. She pressed Hoda for more details on when she saw her acting drunk in public. Hoda repeated what she said and then laughed. Jenna touched her on the shoulder and the two laughed. The Today co-hosts moved on to the next segment.

Today Show fans react to playful banter

Earlier in the conversation, Jenna Bush Hager explained that she would walk around in a Santa hat. She participated in the event which she called a “charitable, non-political, non-sensical Santa Clause convention that happens once a year to spread absurdist joy.” Hoda Kotb looked in shock as she listened to her.

“Why are you shocked by that? I used to be young!” Jenna admitted. “I walked around, I think I had a Santa hat on. I did it.”

She revealed there was one time when she saw “Santa and Mrs. Claus making out” and the jolly old guy “smoking a cig.” Today Show fans took to the video on Instagram to share their reaction.
