Jill Chin, Jacob Rapini Are Already Over, What Happened?
It just wasn’t meant to be. Another Bachelor Nation couple has called it quits. Jill Chin met Jacob Rapini on Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise. Jacob made a grand gesture at the reunion and asked Jill to continue their relationship off the show. She agreed. Keep reading to find out what went wrong.
Jill Chin and Jacob Rapini are over
Entertainment Tonight shared all about Jill Chin and Jacob Rapini’s breakup. After the finale and reunion aired, many thought Jill and Jacob were meant to be. They sealed the deal with a kiss at the reunion. He literally swept her off her feet.
Jill revealed they had been speaking for about three weeks before the reunion taping. Then, at the reunion, he made it all public.
Jacob even professed his feelings on Instagram. At the time he said, “It turns out your beautiful personality truly is right for me🥰😅. I’m honored that I can call you mine after going through all the chaos that we had to endure. After rekindling what was a 3 day relationship on the beach we both realized we’re right for each other.”
Jacob continued, “You have really impressed me and made me extremely happy these past few weeks. I’m so looking forward to spending some quality time with you on the east coast and you here in the west. Glad you stayed open to us💖😊💙 @jillchin_”
While his sentiments were sweet, it seems Jill didn’t quite agree in the end. Things quickly went south for them after the reunion.
Jill appeared on Click Bait and said, “The relationship? Failure to launch, some may say. Unfortunately, it did make it to the hard launch phase, but swiftly after that it ended.”
What happened?
Jill said she and Jacob planned to go to Rhode Island together. However, she said that didn’t work out. Jill said she had no choice but to break it off with Jacob.
Jill said, “I literally had no other choice. I had to do what was best for myself. There’s just a line and standards that you have for yourself that you just can’t allow people to cross.”
She went on to say that he broke her trust. Jill pointed out that having a long-distance relationship needed good communication and trust and she said they had neither of those things.
She also said she doesn’t have any hard feelings toward Jacob. She hopes someday that he can put in the work to make a good partner for someone special.
Jill remains disappointed things didn’t work out but she’s moving on. She didn’t elaborate on what he had done to break her trust.
