Danielle Maltby Apologizes To Sierra Jackson After Podcast Diss
Danielle Maltby and Kaitlyn Bristowe offended Sierra Jackson when they dissed her on the Off the Vine podcast. During Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise, Sierra and Michael Allio connected before Danielle made her entrance onto the beach. Just before Danielle’s arrival, Michael ended things with Sierra noting he wasn’t ready and things were moving too fast. Sierra felt like Michael handled the situation poorly since he moved on so quickly with Danielle. The whole situation was repeatedly being dredged up. Danielle Maltby apologizes to Sierra Jackson
US Weekly shared what Danielle Maltby had to say about Sierra Jackson and all about her apology. The whole situation with Michael dating Sierra was brought up on Kaitlyn’s podcast. They both received criticism for downplaying it all and being disrespectful toward Sierra.
When Kaitlyn and Danielle were discussing it all, Sierra was referred to as “what’s her name.” At the time Sierra posted notes from the podcast on Twitter saying, “Leaving these here.” She continued, “For clarity, I’m over Michael & have been. This is why I don’t understand why I’m a point of topic for them. Those who keep saying ‘get over it’… It’s comical [because] I’m in a relationship. But damn near 40 & hating on a 27 yr old that also had your man? Good bye. My feelings are valid.”
When Danielle was asked what she would say to Sierra now, she said, “I just really wanna apologize for hurting your feelings. You know, I mean, I wasn’t there during the relationship. It had resolved by the time I got down there and I shouldn’t have spoken into it.”
She concluded saying, “And I just really, truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m just really excited to move forward with my relationship with Michael.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe also apologized to Sierra on the Twitter post she made. Sierra replied to Kaitlyn saying she appreciated the gesture. She also said she has a hard time accepting the apology because she feels it was only given after being called out. Sierra also noted she would respond privately to Kaitlyn.
Michael Allio also addressed the situation again
Michael also addressed the situation with Sierra again. He said he should have been more honest with her and said she wasn’t his person. He should have been more direct. What he was trying to do is let her know as soon as he realized it wasn’t going to work. He didn’t want to lead her on.
