‘Today’ Hoda Kotb Shares Relatable Thanksgiving Feast

Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb shared a relatable Thanksgiving feast. Fans are praising her for “keeping it real” on the holiday. The television personality gave them a glimpse into what she did on Thanksgiving. She also shared a photo of herself with her family. However, fans were more focused on something else they found in her Instagram photo.

On Thursday, November 24, Hoda Kotb posted two photos from her Thanksgiving feast. Earlier that day, she co-hosted Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Savannah Guthrie and Dylan Dreyer. The three women had fans loving their live broadcast. Hoda returned home to spend the holiday with her family.

The first photo showed Hoda Kotb snapping a selfie as her family looked at the camera and smiled behind her. Most of them were gathered at the dining table. The next photo included an up-close look at their Thanksgiving meal, which included carrots, cranberry sauce, gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, and stuffing.

“Super yummy Thanksgiving Day dinner courtesy of my sister-in-law colleen!” Hoda Kotb wrote in her Instagram post. “Thankful for family….”

Fans noticed something else in the photos. The family used ceramic and glass dishes for the sides and entrees. Yet, they kept it real when it came to their drinkware. Instead of bringing out the fine china, Hoda Kotb and her family drank out of Solo Red Cups.

However, some fans were concerned about her choice of drinkware. Some called it questionable at best. One noted that plastic cups are “too flimsy” because they can “cause accidents” to happen — especially with kids around. Hoda Kotb took the time off from the show to celebrate the holiday with her family.

On Friday’s broadcast of Today Show, Peter Alexander and Kristen Welker sat behind the desk. During the third hour of the broadcast, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer, and Sheinelle Jones were still there. Hoda Kotb, Savannah, and the other main co-hosts were absent. They’re enjoying the long holiday weekend with their families.
