‘Today’ Hoda Kotb Gives Guest Permission To Say Dirty Words
Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are in shock after a guest on the show cursed on air. On Thursday, American model Emily Ratajkowski made an appearance on the NBC show. Emily Ratajkowski Describes Herself As The Pick Me Girl
During the live interview, Emily talked about motherhood, single life, and her podcast. The 31-year-old also discussed her single status for the very first time in her life after her separation from Bear McClard. The topic came up after Hoda talked about something that Tracee Ellis Ross said. She said that she had to be a chooser and not the one being chosen by someone.

This is when Emily jumped in to share her story and she did so by cursing on live TV.
Emily asked, “You guys know the ‘pick me girl’ phrase?”
Jenna responded with a “No.”

“It’s like a Tiktok thing where people are like the ‘pick me girl,'” she explained.
Jenna asked, “And what are you now?”
Today Host Hoda Kotb Permits Emily To Cuss On-Air
Emily responded with another question, “Um, well, I don’t know. Can we curse on the show?”
“It depends on the words,” responded Hoda as the hosts cracked up.
Following Hoda’s approval, Jenna added, “It feels like we can.”
“I’ve been joking that I’m in my b**** era,” replied Emily almost avoiding cursing on air.

Hoda replied, “Oh, yeah. That’s good.”
“But, I like that word because I feel like I’m re-appropriating it. It has negative connotations. It is like a no no,” said Emily as she explained, “For me, it’s a good thing. I don’t put up with s**t.”
Jenna added, “We knew it had to come out somewhere!”
Agreeing with the statement by the model and her co-host, Hoda laughed and nodded her head in a yes.
Hoda Kotb’s Hat Questions Irk Guest Aubrey Plaza
This isn’t the first time a live interview didn’t go as planned by the production. As per The Sun, last week, the hosts had Aubrey Plaza and her co-star, Adam DiMarco visiting the set to talk about their show, The White Lotus. Even though the guests wished to talk about their show, the hosts kept pestering them. Hoda just wanted to ask questions that weren’t really about the show.

The guests wore witch hats and Hoda wanted to discuss nothing but the hats almost irking Aubrey. The Parks And Recreation alum even folded her arms looking seemingly uncomfortable. She looked irritated at the witch hat questions.
