Talking about the incident, special agent Richard Rennison, FBI Houston, said, “The fact that the offender chose this area gives us a couple of little tidbits of insight. It’s such a remote, rural area, and somebody had to know about that place.”
Why Is Texas Killing Fields Ideal For Hiding Bodies?
For the unversed, the Texas Killing Fields comprises a 25-acre stretch along Calder Road in League City, Texas. Moreover, marshland and oil refineries have made this patch of land an ideal spot for hiding bodies. In the past five decades, 30+ bodies have been discovered in this location. Moreover, this is why the location was later nicknamed the Texas Killing Fields. Plus, most of the murders that happened in this area have gone unsolved.

The trailer shows Tim Miller, the founder of Texas EquuSearch, which is a search and rescue organization dedicated to searching for missing persons. Miller had a personal connection with the case.
Tim Miller Had Personal Connection With The Case
He was actually the father of one of the earliest victims Laura Miller who went missing in 1984. Later on, her body was recovered in 1986. Ever since he has spent his life looking for other victims missing from the area putting in his research efforts.
