The actor voiced his opinion on Twitter. On Tuesday, November 15, Jeffrey Dean Morgan regretted missing Hilarie’s tweet. He showed support for his wife on the social media platform.

“How’d I miss this twit?!” Jeffrey Dean Morgan responded to Hilarie’s tweet. “Who the f*** is this person? Hey Hil? You’re awesome. We lucky to have ya. X.”

He followed up with another tweet that read: “‘Make your money honey.’ Lol… cooked kids’ dinner and was laughing the whole time. Wife has words AND timing.”

On Monday, November 14, Hilarie wrote: “Bigot. I don’t remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. Make your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank.”

Candace also sparked a reaction from JoJo Siwa and Fuller House co-star Jodie Sweetin. Many members of the LGBTQ community also slammed the actress on social media. Amid the backlash she’s received this week, Candace wrote a lengthy statement on Instagram. She blamed the “toxic media” for spreading hate. She also claims that her words were mistaken and that she didn’t “intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone.”
