The Fuller House alum blamed the “toxic climate” for the backlash she’s received in the past few days. Candace made it clear that she has “great love and affection for all people” and that the world “needs Christmas more than everyone.”

“It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone. It saddens me that the media is often seeking to divide us, even around a subject as comforting and merry as Christmas movies. But, given the toxic climate in our culture right now, I shouldn’t be surprised.”

  1. I think she’s right. First of all she has a perfect right to work for whatever channel she chooses. All of Hallmarks Christmas movies are not as wholesome as they once we’re. Everyone has a choice to watch or not.
