Love Island UK alum Luca Bish has words for Paige Thorne. Her controversial interview has caused a reaction from her fellow islanders. She claimed that most of the couples are “faking” it. Interestingly enough, Paige’s comment comes on the heels of her split from Adam Collard.

Some fans would argue that Adam only joined the dating series a few times for attention. Adam is rumored to join the show for a third time next summer. Paige and Adam ended their relationship amid the infidelity rumors. Paige’s comments about the show haven’t rubbed well with her fellow cast members.

Paige Thorne claims Love Island couples are “faking” it

Paige made an appearance on Saving Grace’s podcast. She was asked who she thinks is “faking” it outside of the show. The Welsh paramedic revealed that she feels all of the couples are “fake” at this point. She shaded the Love Island cast by saying that most broke up after leaving the villa.

“All I’m going to say on this right, is, there are how many couples left?” Paige pondered before adding, “Three. There are three couples left, really there’s only two — but that’s a secret I’ll never tell.”

She took a page out of the show Gossip Girl by keeping her mouth shut. Paige took a shot of alcohol as she said it. She didn’t want to mention which Love Island couple she was referring to. Her podcast interview has since gone viral on TikTok.

Davide Sanclimenti won Love Island 2022 with fan-favorite Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. He took to his Instagram Stories to slam Paige’s comments. He shared a clip of himself in a car with his girlfriend.

“Remember, rumors are carried by haters, spread by false and accepted by idiots,” Davide said. “Kind regards.”

Ekin-Su laughed in the background. The Love Island couple wants to make it clear they are not “faking” it. Even fans have shared their thoughts on Paige’s comments. She also sparked a reaction out of Luca Bish.

Luca Bish reveals why he joined the ITV2 series

Luca Bish responded to Paige’s comments. He attended a red carpet event earlier this week where he spoke to reporters. In an interview with Metro.co.uk, Luca shared that he “doesn’t really care” what Paige had to say about the Love Island couples. He shaded those who go on “podcast after podcast” and “interview after interview” after leaving the villa.

“All the best thing they can do is talk or make a story,” Luca shared in the video posted on the Love Island TV Reddit. “I don’t know what Paige is talking about, but that’s up to her. Say what you want to say.”

In another interview, Luca shared why he joined Love Island. He found love with Gemma Owen and fans loved their relationship. Luca shared an update on their relationship and respective careers. Luca admitted he didn’t go on the show for love.

“I think you’re naive and think you’re going to find love, I do,” Luca admitted, per Yahoo! News UK. “Listen, it’s called Love Island, but I never went in there thinking I was going to meet Gemma. I’d be a liar to say that. But I went in there for a good summer and a fun time, and we had that.”
