What Is Hallmark’s #Xmas About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Jen (Bowen) is an interior designer that is trying to make a name for herself. When design brand, Hygge Home, announces a contest, Jen realizes that this could be her big break.

The high-profile brand wants to find a resident designer. Jen thinks she would be perfect for this. However, her plan has to be dramatically altered. That is because social media is the main component of the content.

Her social media game is pretty basic. On one hand, Jen wants to be respected for her talent as an interior designer. She wants to be known for her “simple yet tasteful” social media posts that show off her design skills. But, these posts don’t stand out, and they are not being shared.

Moreover, she does not share her personal life. She likes to keep her personal life private.

However, her best friend Max (Daugherty) thinks she needs to go with it. Soon, Jen creates an online personal called “Jen T.”

Jen takes this further by making Max her fake husband, and with her nephew, they are the perfect little family.

Her plan has worked! The folks at Hygge Home love Jen T. and her beautiful life. They love the photos of her curated home and life. Therefore, Jen is quickly chosen as a finalist.

Throughout this time, Jen becomes closer to her mom and sister. Most of all, she gets closer to Max. Until now, she never saw him in a romantic light. Now, she realizes he is the perfect guy. Best of all, she appreciates just how wonderful her world is.
