CBC’s third holiday movie is When Christmas Was Young. This is a musical movie that is executive produced by Sheryl Crow.
When Christmas Was Young stars Karen David (Galavant, Fear The Walking Dead), Tyler Hilton (A Christmas Wish, The Christmas Contract), Meghan Heffern (Morning Show Mysteries, Love At Sunset Terrace), Jordana Largy (Chesapeake Shores, A Royal Christmas Match), Hayley Sales (Just For The Summer, The Perfect Bride), Jake Foy (Ride, Reign), Dhiredra (Polly Pocket, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries), Jayce Barreiro (Gone Mom, School Spirits), and Anastasia Bandey (Girl In Room 13, Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina).
Robert Tate Miller (Marry Go Round, A Summer Romance) wrote the script, with Monika Mitchell (Virgin River, The Knight Before Christmas) directing.
What Is CBS’s When Christmas Was Young About?
According to The Futon Critic, Luke Dawson (Hilton) is a headstrong music executive who is desperate to find a hit song for his only client. He has had a run of bad luck and is down to just one client.
Therefore, since all of his eggs are in one basket, he needs this to be a winner. He meets singer/songwriter Melody Douglass (David), and his world changes. He has fallen for her.
Melody has lost all hope of finding success in the music business. She gave up on her dreams long ago. Previously, she even tried to meet Luke to help her business. But, he didn’t have time to listen to the rookie talent.
However, Luke wants a song Melody wrote long ago. Will this be the song that changes Luke’s run of bad luck?

The premiere of When Christmas Was Young is on Sunday, December 18, at 8:30 p.m., Eater, and 8 p.m., Pacific, on CBS.

The second movie is Must Love Christmas. This stars Liza Lapira, Nathan Witte, and Neal Bledsoe. This premieres on Sunday, December 11, at 9 p.m., Eastern. on CBS.
