Robyn Brown Alleges Christine Isn’t Divorced Yet

Robyn is the only wife legally married to Kody while his other wives are connected with him through a spiritual marriage approved by the church. However, it seems like the wives aren’t really clear about what constitutes a divorce in such an arrangement. This is why Robyn feels like Christine’s marriage might require much more than moving away to end.

On TLC’s Sunday episode, Robyn was seen sharing her feelings on Christine’s divorce after being with Kody for 26 years in a spiritual union. In an outdoor conversation with Christine, Robyn said, “Usually our church would be the one to say you’re divorced. You have to go ask for a divorce, have to get paperwork and have to get approval. You have to prove that the marriage is broken.”

However, in a taunting tone, she addressed Christine stating, “This is a little different, I guess because you don’t consider yourself to be part of that church anymore.”

Robyn Brown Claims Spiritual Divorce Requires Church’s Approval

Back in November 2021, Christine made the news of her separation from Kody public on Instagram as reported by People.com. However, she had relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, way earlier with Truely before declaring her divorce. In her confessional, Robyn was seen stating that Christine claiming that she’s divorced without consulting the church is invalidating their beliefs.

She said, “We are spiritually married to Kody by our church. If we want a divorce then we have to go get their approval. Usually, they require counseling, and lots and lots of meetings, and technically, from my understanding, until Christine is physical with another man she’s not divorced. But I don’t know.”

Christine Brown Is No More A Mormon Fundamentalist

However, for Christine, the divorce came into effect when she decided the marriage was over. This was possible as she wasn’t ever legally married to Kody. Moreover, she isn’t a member of the Mormon Fundamentalist faith anymore. In her confessional, she explained, “Since I don’t have any legal contract that binds me with Kody, there was no legal process that we’ve had to go through.”

  1. I think Sobyn should clean up her own messes and explain her divorce before telling Christine what she should do. She never explained what she did to get a divorce, and that she was pure again before marrying Kotex. How did that happen?……….
