When Will ‘The Masked Singer’ Air Again & Why Is It Gone?
The Masked Singer will not air this Wednesday. Once again, it is a huge episode that is being delayed. Luckily, fans are getting advanced notice about it so they won’t be waiting around. This has happened a handful of times over the last several weeks. FOX has claimed the show will be on later than usual. They tend to give real-time updates via social media and then fans are livid when the outcome is a canceled show. So, when will the next episode air, and what is causing the delay? When Will The Masked Singer Return?
A very special 100th episode of the show will air on Sunday night at 8 pm EST. The popular reality singing competition usually airs Wednesday nights. However, due to Game 5 of the World Series, it is being postponed. Baseball has been the reason for most of the delays or cancellations thus far. One evening, the show was supposed to go on after the game which ran late because of a rain delay. Fans were up in arms waiting for it to air. FOX tried their best to keep viewers up to date with what was going on but, in the end, the show never aired.
The worst part was that it did air in Canada so Twitter was filled with spoilers. That happened to be Andrew Lloyd Webber night filled with the best of musicals. Now, for the 100th episode, which will be 90s Night, the series is well-prepared. Fans are very excited about what is to come, especially with the cast photo circulating on Facebook.
Jenny McCarthy is dressed as Gwen Stefani during her No Doubt days and the group is posing around a costume-decorated cake. The number “100” is in glittery neon green up front and they are all smiles surrounding it. “90’s is the best music era to me! I’m gonna enjoy this!” one fan commented. However, not everyone was excited about the move to Sunday.
A Big Disappointment
Though many The Masked Singer fans are thrilled about what’s to come, some are upset about the Sunday move. It is just temporary but they have plans for that evening. “I am glad I got my DVR set to record because I have other shows I watch on Sunday nights,” one noted. Another added: “No not Sunday. My walking dead is on.” Fortunately, as the first commenter said, it can be recorded. Plus, it can be streamed on Hulu, as well.
