‘The Masked Singer’ New Episode Not On Again, Why?

The Masked Singer Season 8, Episode 4 titled “Andrew Lloyd Webber Night” was scheduled to air tonight, so viewers were pretty surprised when they flipped their televisions over to FOX only to realize a new episode wasn’t airing again.

As TvShowsAce reported last week, fans of the costume singing competition were pretty disappointed when a new episode of the series didn’t air last week. Initially, the network explained the new episode of The Masked Singer was simply delayed from its originally scheduled program because of a baseball game. Sadly, time passed and the new episode never aired. The network later removed all promises of the new episode simply being delayed. And, fans were forced to wait an entire week for a new episode.

Needless to say, viewers were more than a little upset when they tuned in to watch The Masked Singer tonight and realized that, again, a new episode wasn’t airing. Did Fox have a reason for a new episode not being on the second week in a row? What was going on? Fans turned to social media for answers.

Just a few minutes ago, the official social media profiles for The Masked Singer apologized for the delay. Moreover, the network promised the new episode would air after the baseball game concluded. Here’s the official message:

Fans of the series express outrage on social media

On Twitter, fans of The Masked Singer express outrage as they aren’t interested in watching baseball. Moreover, many fans ended up having the episode spoiled last week when it did air the new episode in Canada. Fans of the series were encouraged to avoid social media if they didn’t want the episode spoiled. Here’s what some fans are saying on Twitter:

I’m so pissed that masked singer is yet again not on stop lying to us you know major baseball will play no matter what so why would you lie to all of us saying last week show would air tonight do a double mask singer for us and do it at a later time or earlier or another day

Overall, viewers were furious urging the network to do a better job with scheduling. Moreover, some fans argued sports should be on a channel dedicated to sports.
