Jeopardy! Fans Slam Ken Jennings For His Offensive Tweet
On Thursday, the contestant-turned-host slammed the popcorn in an offensive tweet. He posted a picture of Cretor’s cheese and caramel mix popcorn and wrote, “Chicago Pizza and hot dogs are so good that we just give them a pass on their abominable popcorn.”

However, the tweet didn’t sit well with fans and they fired off against his controversial opinion. One claimed, “Ken, this might be your most offensive tweet. Chicago popcorn is incredible.”
“Um, no. we call that stuff crack in our house. One handful and you are immediately addicted. Damn you, Costco, for selling it,” wrote another.

While he is not busy bashing Chicago’s popcorn, he is hosting the latest season of Jeopardy! that premiered last month. Apart from that, he will also host the Tournament Of Champions slated to air on October 31 as opposed to regular episodes. As per The Sun, the spinoff features super-champions (the contestants that have won 10 or more games in Jeopardy!).

These returning champions include champs such as:
- Amy Schneider ($1.3 Million from 40 wins)

- Matt Amodio ($1.5 Million from 38 wins)
- Ryan Long ($299K from 16 wins)
Once the Second Chance Competition and Tournament Of Champions have wrapped up, regular episodes will return with reigning champion Cris Pannullo. Next, Ken will step aside for Mayim to continue the iconic game as a host. The actress is now in charge of Celebrity Jeopardy! After Season 38 ended Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings were declared the permanent hosts after the death of late host Alex Trebek.

Firing Ken Jennings would be a smart decision before the show is totally destroyed!! Alex can never be replaced. Try as I may, I simply find him to be a pompous, no personality, holier than thou jackass. Cancelling Jeopardy altogether may be the smartest decision made.
Don’t fire Ken. He is a genius. A nice one.
