‘Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman’ Is History’s Newest Series
Are you ready for History’s latest series, Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman? This new competition series will test the world’s top marksmen and markswomen. They will compete against each other using bows, primitive knives, and firearms as they did back in the frontier days.

What Is History’s Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman About?
According to The Futon Critic, Survivor contestant Colby Donaldson and world champion shooter Mark Romano are hosting a brand new series Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman.
This new History series will challenge some of the world’s top marksmen and markswomen in a cornucopia of historic American frontier weaponry. These challenges also are created to weed out the very best. That includes determining distance, precision, and whether they can overcome obstacles. Describing this series as a “showdown” the winner with the highest amount of points wins the title of Ultimate Marksman, as well as $10,000.

Throughout history, those who wandered the wilderness of the West needed to rely on handmade weapons and survival tools to maintain life on the mountain. Surviving harsh weather and hungry predators often came down to one shot. The knowledge and expertise they displayed with these frontier weapons are still being honored today.
Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman is an extension of the network’s popular Mountain Men franchise with the new competition series aiming to revisit the pioneer spirit and way of life on the old frontier.
This competition requires that each marksman or markswoman has to navigate the landscape in the same way the American frontier people moved through the terrain. That could mean firing a historic firearm into a wall of fire, or balancing on a river while hitting a target with a bow and arrow.
These are the types of challenges that modern-day people don’t often face. This twist will weed out the ones who could have survived 200 years ago, during the American frontier days. This is a show with challenges meant to determine if they could have lived off of the land back then.

The premiere of History’s Mountain Men: Ultimate Marksman is on Wednesday, November 4, at 9:30 p.m., Eastern.
