‘7 Little Johnstons’ Fans Feel ‘Gobsmacked’ By TLC, Beg For More
Fans of 7 Little Johnstons admit they’ve been left feeling “gobsmacked” by TLC after Season 12 of the series suddenly came to an end. Frustrated fans raced to Google when a new episode of 7 Little Johnstons did not air this week. And, they were heavily disappointed when they arrived at TvShowsAce’s report revealing a new episode didn’t air because there aren’t any more new episodes to air.
Outraged, fans of this precious family took to the comments of the report with no kind words for TLC. Many fans were in agreement that the Season 12 Finale felt abrupt and unexpected. Other fans argued the network didn’t do a proper job of warning fans the season was coming to an end. One fan added they felt “gobsmacked” by TLC.
Here’s what other fans had to say about a new episode of 7 Little Johnstons not airing this week:
- “I am 61 yrs and I look forward too watching 7 little Johnston please bring them back they are so real and watching them grow up. I am tired of the drama shows please bring them back.”
- “Amber is an amazing mom and spouse. I hope they return for season 13, one of my favorite shows to watch.”
- “I was SO disappointed there wasn’t a new episode of the 7 Little Johnstons last night. I look forward to watching them each week, and I do hope there is a Season 13.”
Overall, 7 Little Johnstons fans all seemed to be in agreement that they felt a bit blindsided by last week’s episode being the Season 12 Finale. And, they hoped the network would do the right thing and swiftly renew the show for another season.
7 Little Johnstons: Will the network renew the series?
As those who watch TLC know, the network doesn’t really do things traditionally when it comes to renewing and canceling shows. For example, The Little Couple was never officially canceled by the network. It, however, has not aired new episodes in a very long time.
Moreover, the network is not always in control of the shows. OutDaughtered, for example, hasn’t been canceled. Adam and Danielle, however, did halt production because of the pandemic and how much they had going on in their lives. Sweet Home Sextuplets, on the other hand, wasn’t canceled by the network at all. Eric and Courtney Waldrop decided they wanted to give their children some privacy and freedom back. So, they made the decision to walk away instead of agreeing to another season.
As TvShowsAce previously reported, the Johnston family has a habit of teasing fans with behind-the-scenes photos and video clips that confirm they are filming new seasons of the show. Emma Johnston also tends to spill the beans on the status of the show via her TikTok comments. And, many fans believe the family has already confirmed they are actively filming the next season of the show now.

I was expecting a new episode also. Life doesn’t give closure but hopefully we can get closure with families and episodes we’re been watching for a long time. makes one feel like they know the family and feel included even if its for only 1 hour a week. Hope it comes back soon
