‘7 Little Johnstons:’ Are Jonah & Ashley Back Together After Break?
In the preview for the Tuesday, October 18 episode of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons, Jonah Johnston sits down with Ashley to evaluate their relationship. The couple previously took a break from dating as Jonah worked on his mental health and had some issues with his parents, Trent and Amber. Now, Jonah and Ashley are having an important conversation about where to go next.
Earlier this season, 7 Little Johnstons viewers saw a tense conversation between Jonah, Ashley, Trent, and Amber. Jonah’s parents had gone through his text messages and were unhappy about what they read. This was shortly after he moved back home after his Delta-8 incident.
Then, last week, Jonah talked to his sister, Anna Johnston, about his relationship with Ashley. He explained to Anna that they were on a break at the time.
Now, in the 7 Little Johnstons Season 12 finale episode, Jonah and Ashley have a lot to discuss.
7 Little Johnstons: Are Jonah & Ashley Back Together After Break?
On Monday, TLC released a preview of the Tuesday, October 18 episode of the show. In the clip, Jonah and Ashley meet up at a restaurant to have a chat after a few months apart from each other. Jonah says, “I think the break ultimately has helped me.”
Ashley is on the same page and feels that she’s had an opportunity to watch him change. She thinks they can be more open with each other now, which she believes is “good.”
7 Little Johnstons star Jonah says that he wants the break to end so they can get back together. However, he does have some concerns. In a confessional, he explains, “I don’t know right now as to whether or not my relationship can withstand the issues that I’ve been going through. I mean all I can do is hope. But Ashley plays a big role in this too and her word means just as much as mine. And I have to respect that.”
The couple acknowledges they’ve had time to think this through. Then, in the clip, Ashley says, “I feel like we should start things back up.”
It does sound like the couple wants to move forward carefully, however. Ashley points out that they shouldn’t “dive into it so fast again.”
