‘7 Little Johnstons:’ Jonah Johnston Gives Relationship Update
In the Tuesday, October 11 episode of TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons, Jonah Johnston reveals where he stands with Ashley these days. Fans will recall the uncomfortable conversation Ashley and Jonah had with Trent and Amber Johnston. So, what does their relationship look like now? Keep reading to get the details about what’s ahead in the new episode.
As TV Shows Ace reported, the new episode features some lighthearted moments between Jonah and his sisters, Anna, Emma, and Liz. He is modeling his clothes for them so they can help him look fashionable at the Little People of America National Conference.
However, also in the episode, Jonah gets real about his relationship with Ashley. Earlier in the season, Ashley sat down with Jonah, Trent, and Amber and had a serious discussion. Amber and Trent had read Jonah’s texts and were unhappy about the things Ashley had said. This was an uncomfortable chat for everyone involved, it seems.
Now, Jonah has a relationship update to share.

Ahead of the new episode premiering on TLC, the network shared a preview of what’s ahead. In the preview, Jonah plays pickleball with his sister, Anna, and they chat about their love lives.
Jonah admits that he and Ashley are currently on a break, which he believes is “quite necessary.” Aside from that, he says they are doing “pretty good” right now.
He explains to his sister, “It sucked for me but I’m happy that she understood and was … willing to pitch in and help with anything I needed.”
The 7 Little Johnstons star admits that he would like his mom, Amber, to support this relationship more.
Jonah points out Ashley’s loyalty and says, “And you know, she’s stuck around. I mean, that shows some damn good commitment in a way.”
Finally, he adds, “But I also want my parents to be on board – both. You know, because I’ve realized that if your parents aren’t on board, then it makes it very hard and very challenging for a relationship to actually be practiced the way it should be.”
In the 7 Little Johnstons preview, Anna encourages her brother and reminds him to focus on moving forward in his relationship. She also sweetly says that she’s “very proud” of her brother.

Amber and Trent are way to bossy and nosey in their adult children’s lives. Amber and Trent knew and said out of their own mouth Jonah had high anxiety and other issues in middle school, high school, college, etc, yet they wanted his ass out of house and did nothing to help him (never mentioned it all these years)? Then Jonah has Delta 8 situation all of a sudden Amber makes “Executive Discussion” to move Jonah home and for him to dump Ashley. Ashley only sent some upsetting texts because Jonah lied! Ashley is extremely devoted to Jonah! Elizabeth is living with Brice making her own choices and Amber and Trent want Ashley out of Jonah life. I can’t believe Trent said “Ashley didn’t matter to them”! I bet her parents really enjoyed watching that on tv. They need to call Trent and Amber and rip them a new one for embarrassing Ashley on national tv! By the way, how many of you notice the ridiculous faces Amber makes when she is upset or pissed off? Which is every episode! Amber a grown woman rolling her eyes, throwing her hands on her hips, constantly making faces.
