‘GMA’ Robin Roberts Violates Privacy Again, Fans Call Her Out

GMA host Robin Roberts violated privacy again. Even her own fans called her out on it. The 61-year-old took to Instagram to share a “sneaky” photo on Instagram. She wanted to share a snapshot of her longtime partner Amber Laign sleeping on the couch next to their dog Lukas.

Amber was snuggled up in a rich purple blanket that featured inspirational sayings in white. Their dog Lukas looked comfortable in the tan-colored cozy blanket underneath him. Both Amber and their dog had the right idea for a lazy Sunday. However, fans had to call Robin out for posting the photo.

Robin Roberts shares “sneaky” photo

On Sunday, October 9, Robin Roberts admitted that she knew she was in “trouble” for sharing this photo. However, she wanted to share a glimpse of her two favorite beings enjoying their time together. For her, it was just too good to leave this photo off of social media.

“Sweet Amber & @lil_man_lukas enjoying a little Sunday Serenity. #GotHerAgain. (Yes, I know I’m in trouble…again!),” Robin Roberts captioned the snapshot.

She’s been sharing a lot of photos of her partner sleeping lately. This is the second time this week that she’s done this in the past two weeks. In her previous Instagram post, Robin wrote: “You would think these two were the ones who were exhausted from an overnight flight from Ghana! #GotHerAgain.”

That photo showed Amber passed out on their brown carpet. Lukas was snuggled up against her. Both of them looked exhausted from welcoming Robin back from her trip. Some fans couldn’t stop gushing over these candid snapshots. In the comment section of her latest Instagram post, some fans had to call her out:

• “You’re so sneaky.”
• “My husband would kill me if I posted a photo of him sleeping on social media. Glad Amber is a sport about it!”
• “She’s going to be so mad at you for posting this!!!”

On her friendship with Sam Champion

Robin Roberts wasn’t always comfortable with sharing updates about her relationship with Amber. She admitted that she used to hide that part of herself. Her friendship with her GMA co-anchor Sam Champion inspired her to be comfortable with herself. In an interview with Extra, Robin talked about their special connection.

Sam talked about confidence in a previous episode of DWTS. He said it’s the one thing that allowed him to feel more comfortable with his sexuality. Robin revealed that Sam gave her the confidence to come out as a gay woman. The two dated for several years before going public with their relationship.

“Sam helped me to be more public about this woman right there,” Robin Roberts told Extra.
