‘Wheel Of Fortune:’ Pat Sajak Trolls Contestant For Poor Choice

Pat Sajak trolled a contestant for a poor choice they made. This is the second time in the same week that he’s called out a player. The incident took place during Thursday’s broadcast of Wheel of Fortune. Once again, Pat mocked a contestant for failing to solve a puzzle. That player also ended up losing out on the $40,000 grand prize. Read on to learn more.

Pat Sajak mocks another contestant

On the Thursday, October 6 broadcast of Wheel of Fortune, Pat Sajak introduced players Erika, Nathan, and Navi. Nathan is a former MMA fighter from Little Rock, Arkansas.

Earlier on the show, the players figured out a puzzle with the clue “___ top.” So far, the words were: “soft,” “mountain,” and “table.” The last word only had one letter left to reveal and it read: “*ill.”

Pat Sajak asked Nathan if he wanted to spin or solve. He went for another spin. Nathan ended up on a $900 wedge. He asked for the letter “H” to complete the puzzle which now read, “Soft. Mountain. Hill. Table.”

Pat was surprised that Nathan wanted to spin rather than solve. He informed him there was only one letter missing. Yet, Pat moved on and was glad that Nathan solved the clue. Later on, in the show, Nathan ended up losing winnings of $40,000 when he couldn’t solve the final puzzle.

“I hate to do this,” Pat Sajak said as he revealed his gold envelope.

Nathan looked bummed as he saw what was inside. Thankfully, not all was lost. He ended up walking away with $16,200 and a trip to Maui. Nathan made it all the way through the game, so that was an impressive feat alone. Of course, this isn’t the first time that Pat Sajak has mocked a contestant on the show.

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Pat mocked a contestant when she couldn’t solve the puzzle in time. Sometimes he gets rude and impatient with the players. He cracked a joke about the player. Some of the Wheel of Fortune fans thought it was rude of him to do that.

Quitting Wheel of Fortune?

Fans are holding out hope that this will be Pat Sajak’s last season. He’s hinted that he might walk away from the game show. He feels the end is near when it comes to his hosting job.

“Years go by fast. We’re getting near the end,” Pat Sajak told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s been a long [time]. We’re not going to do this for another 40 years. The end is near.”

Some fans wonder if his daughter, Maggie, will become the new host of the classic game show. They would love to see two ladies lead the show instead.
